The Ultra Hologram Branching Hammer is a premium LPS coral prized for its brilliant coloration, flowing movement, and distinctive hammer-shaped polyps. Under blue-heavy reef lighting, its contrasting colors create an almost holographic appearance that makes this Hammer an immediate standout in any reef display.
Unlike wall-forming Hammers, Fimbriaphyllia paraancora grows in a branching skeletal structure, with individual heads developing along separate branches. This growth pattern makes established colonies especially impressive and allows plenty of movement as the fleshy polyps fully extend.

Placement & Flow
Provide gentle to moderate, indirect flow that allows the polyps to sway naturally without being whipped around or pushed against the skeleton. Branching Hammers can expand considerably when fully open, so give the coral several inches of space from neighboring corals.
Lighting
The Ultra Hologram Branching Hammer generally performs best under low to moderate reef lighting. Gradual light acclimation is recommended when introducing the coral to a new aquarium, especially when moving it into higher PAR.
Feeding
This Hammer receives much of its nutritional needs through photosynthesis and does not require frequent direct feeding. Occasional offerings of small LPS pellets, mysis, or appropriately sized meaty foods can help support healthy growth and development.
