Goniopora Corals

Goniopora corals, commonly known as flowerpot corals, are prized for their long, flower-like polyps and exceptional movement in a reef aquarium. They belong to the LPS coral family. Modern aquacultured varieties are available in striking colors including green, red, pink, purple, and mixed-color combinations. 

Goniopora generally prefer moderate lighting and gentle-to-moderate, indirect water flow that allows their extended polyps to move naturally. Stable reef aquarium parameters and appropriate placement are important for long-term success.
