Placement & Care

Place your Rainbow Splatter Symphyllia in the lower portion of the aquarium where it receives low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect water movement.

When placing it on rockwork, choose a stable, relatively flat location that won't damage the coral's fleshy tissue. Sand bed placement is also an excellent option, particularly for larger specimens.

Avoid excessive water flow that causes the coral's tissue to constantly retract or whip against its skeleton.
