The Neon Green Alveopora Coral is a beautiful LPS coral known for its bright green coloration, delicate flower-like polyps, and graceful movement in the reef aquarium. When fully extended, its numerous flowing polyps create a soft, waving appearance that adds both vibrant color and movement to a mixed reef.

Alveopora is closely related in appearance to Goniopora but can be distinguished by its 12-tentacled polyps, compared with the 24 tentacles typically found on Goniopora. Alveopora generally prefers moderate lighting and gentle-to-moderate, indirect water movement that allows its polyps to extend naturally.
