The Hologram Gold Hammer is a stunning LPS coral featuring flowing hammer-shaped tentacles with brilliant gold coloration and an almost holographic appearance under blue reef lighting. Its combination of intense color and constant movement makes it an excellent showpiece for a mixed reef aquarium.
As the colony settles in and fully extends, its fleshy polyps create the signature swaying movement Hammer Corals are known for. Give it adequate space and stable reef conditions, and it can develop into an impressive centerpiece colony.

Placement & Flow
Place your Hologram Gold Hammer where it receives gentle to moderate, indirect flow. The polyps should sway naturally rather than being pushed hard in one direction. Excessive flow can prevent full extension and potentially damage the coral's fleshy tissue.
Allow several inches of space between the Hammer and neighboring corals, as it can produce sweeper tentacles capable of stinging nearby corals.
Lighting
Hologram Gold Hammers generally thrive under low to moderate reef lighting. When introducing the coral to a new aquarium, starting it in a lower-light area and gradually acclimating it to stronger lighting can help prevent unnecessary stress.
Feeding
Hammer Corals receive much of their nutritional needs through photosynthesis and do not require frequent direct feeding. However, occasional feedings of small LPS pellets, mysis, or other appropriately sized meaty foods can support healthy growth.
