Brightwell Aquatics Polyp Ignite is a liquid coral-feeding supplement formulated to stimulate feeding response, improve polyp extension, and support vibrant coloration. It provides bioavailable amino acids, fatty acids, and natural pigments in ratios designed for stony corals, soft corals, and other solitary or colonial polyps.

The formula prepares corals to capture and absorb nutrients from subsequently offered foods. Its free-form amino acids are readily assimilated and support new tissue development, tissue repair, and coral growth through budding and fission.

Polyp Ignite may be used for targeted application or broadcast throughout the aquarium. Target feeding provides controlled delivery near selected corals, while broadcast feeding makes the supplement available throughout the reef system.

Turn off the protein skimmer and mechanical filtration before use, then leave them off for 10–15 minutes after dosing. Never place the product’s glass dropper directly into aquarium water, as this can contaminate the contents.

Before dosing, turn off the protein skimmer and other mechanical filtration. Resume filtration 10–15 minutes after using Polyp Ignite.

Target Feeding — Recommended

1. Place 1–5 mL of Polyp Ignite into a clean, separate container.
2. Draw the product into a clean syringe, pipette, or feeding dropper.
3. Slowly discharge it approximately 2–4 inches upstream from the target coral so aquarium flow carries it toward the polyps.
4. Rinse the feeding equipment thoroughly after use to prevent contamination.

Broadcast Feeding

Add 1 mL or more per 50 US gallons of aquarium water daily in an area of rapid water movement.

Wait at least one minute after adding Polyp Ignite before introducing other coral foods.

During the first several weeks, do not exceed 5 mL per 50 gallons daily. Increase gradually afterward, if desired, while monitoring coral response and aquarium nutrient levels.

Mix the following in a clean container:

The Product Is Removed Too Quickly

Protein skimmers and mechanical filtration can remove the supplement before corals have an opportunity to respond. Turn them off before dosing and wait 10–15 minutes before restarting them.

The Aquarium’s Nutrient Levels Are Increasing

Reduce the dose or feeding frequency and review the amount of other coral food entering the aquarium. Begin with a conservative dose and increase only while monitoring nitrate, phosphate, water clarity, and coral response.

The Dropper Touched Aquarium Water

Do not return a contaminated dropper to the bottle. Clean and dry the dropper thoroughly. If aquarium water entered the product, refrigerate the bottle until it is completely used.
