Placement & Flow

Place the 24K Gold Leptoseris on stable rockwork with enough room to spread and develop its plating growth. It can work particularly well on vertical or slightly angled surfaces where its layered growth can be appreciated as the colony matures.

Moderate, indirect flow is ideal. Good circulation helps prevent detritus from settling across the coral's surface while avoiding strong, direct flow that can interfere with tissue expansion or damage developing edges. Although generally peaceful, provide reasonable spacing from rapidly growing or aggressive neighboring corals.

Lighting
