However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update information, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice.

We also reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order when a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, incorrectly described, or listed in error. If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Livestock Disclaimer

Aquatic livestock is inherently variable, and individual animals may respond differently to transportation, acclimation, aquarium conditions, lighting, water chemistry, flow, nutrition, tankmates, and other environmental factors.

Island Reef Aquatics cannot guarantee the long-term survival, coloration, growth, behavior, compatibility, or appearance of livestock after it has been delivered or leaves our possession except as specifically provided under our Live Arrival Guarantee and Refund/Return Policy.

Customers are responsible for determining whether livestock is appropriate for their aquarium and for maintaining suitable aquarium conditions.

WYSIWYG Livestock

Products identified as WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") represent the individual coral or livestock specimen offered for sale unless otherwise stated.

We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent our livestock through photography. However, appearance and coloration may vary depending on aquarium lighting, spectrum, camera settings, display settings, viewing angle, shipping stress, acclimation, and aquarium conditions.

Such normal variations do not necessarily indicate that an item was inaccurately represented.

Livestock Compatibility & Care

Information provided by Island Reef Aquatics regarding aquarium care, compatibility, feeding, lighting, water parameters, placement, or other husbandry matters is provided for general informational purposes.

Aquarium environments vary considerably. Customers remain responsible for researching livestock before purchase and determining whether their aquarium, equipment, experience level, and existing livestock are appropriate for the animal being purchased.

Island Reef Aquatics is not responsible for injury, predation, aggression, coral stinging, incompatibility, or other interactions between livestock after purchase.

Coral & Livestock Handling

Some corals and other marine organisms may contain toxins, venom, stinging cells, sharp structures, or other natural defensive mechanisms.

Customers should research and use appropriate precautions when handling aquatic livestock.

Certain zoanthids and palythoas, for example, may contain palytoxin, which can be dangerous to humans and animals if handled improperly.

Island Reef Aquatics strongly recommends appropriate protective equipment and safe handling practices when handling, cutting, fragging, cleaning, or otherwise working with marine organisms.

Never boil, cook, burn, or expose coral-covered rock to excessive heat.

Equipment Disclaimer

Aquarium equipment must be installed, operated, and maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Island Reef Aquatics is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, modification, misuse, electrical problems, water exposure contrary to manufacturer instructions, improper maintenance, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications.

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the individual manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Island Reef Aquatics shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use or misuse of livestock, aquarium equipment, products, information, or services purchased or obtained through this website.

This may include, where permitted by law, losses involving livestock, aquarium inhabitants, aquarium systems, property, equipment, business interruption, or other consequential losses.
