The Radioactive Splatter Anchor Hammer is a standout LPS coral featuring the classic anchor-shaped polyps of Fimbriaphyllia ancora with intense fluorescent coloration and contrasting splatter patterns. Under blue-heavy reef lighting, its bright colors and unique patterning create an incredible display, while its large fleshy polyps provide the flowing movement Hammer Corals are known for.
Each specimen can display slightly different splatter patterns, giving individual colonies their own unique appearance.

Placement & Flow
Place your Radioactive Splatter Anchor Hammer in an area with gentle to moderate, indirect flow. The fleshy polyps should sway naturally without being pushed aggressively against the skeleton.
Give the coral several inches of space from neighboring corals. Hammer Corals can extend sweeper tentacles and sting nearby corals, particularly after the lights go out.
Lighting
This Hammer generally performs best under low to moderate reef lighting. When introducing it to a new system, gradually acclimate it to your aquarium's lighting rather than immediately placing it under intense PAR.
Feeding
The Radioactive Splatter Anchor Hammer receives much of its nutritional needs through photosynthesis and does not require frequent direct feeding. Occasional offerings of small LPS pellets, mysis, or appropriately sized meaty foods can help support healthy growth.
