Placement & Flow

Place Green Montipora in an area with strong, variable water movement and consistent circulation. Turbulent flow helps keep the coral free of detritus while supporting gas exchange and nutrient delivery across the growing tissue.

Avoid positioning the coral directly in front of a powerful wavemaker where a concentrated stream continuously impacts the tissue. As the colony grows, provide adequate room for it to spread and maintain separation from neighboring corals.
