Before Feeding

Turn off the protein skimmer and other forms of mechanical filtration before adding Reef Snow. Wait 10–15 minutes after feeding before restarting the equipment.

Target Feeding — Recommended

1. Draw Reef Snow into a clean syringe, pipette, dropper, rigid airline tube, or similar feeding device.
2. Position the feeding tool approximately 2–4 inches upstream from the target coral or invertebrate.
3. Slowly release the food and allow aquarium flow to carry it toward the organism.
4. Repeat as needed while remaining within the recommended maximum feeding amount.
5. Rinse the feeding tool thoroughly with fresh water before it is placed back into the Reef Snow container.

Broadcast Feeding

Add up to 2.5 mL—one-half capful—per 50 US gallons of total system water every other day during the first four weeks.

Add the product to an area of rapid water movement for effective distribution.

After the first four weeks, the dose may be increased gradually if desired while monitoring animal response and aquarium water quality.
