Koral MD - 250 ml

Brightwell Aquatics Koral MD is an iodine-free coral dip, cleaner and conditioner made from natural plant extracts and oils. It is formulated for cleaning new corals before they are introduced to an aquarium and for washing newly fragmented or damaged corals.

The dip can help prevent unwanted substances from being transferred into the display aquarium. It may also be used to clean live rock and empty coral holding or fragging equipment.

Koral MD is not a medication or household cleaner. It must always be diluted and used in a separate plastic container outside the aquarium.

Wear rubber gloves and protective goggles. Shake the bottle very well before every use. Do not overdose.

Coral-dip preparation:
1. Add 20 ml, or 4 capfuls, of Koral MD to 1/2 US gallon (1.9 L) of aged seawater in a plastic container.
2. Old aquarium water is preferred.
3. Mix the solution thoroughly.
4. Place the coral into the prepared solution and ensure that it is completely submerged.
5. Bathe the coral for 5–10 minutes. Never exceed the absolute maximum of 15 minutes.
6. Gently agitate the solution during treatment.
7. Use a turkey baster or similar device to move the dip between the branches and into areas that may otherwise be difficult to clean.
8. Remove the coral and rinse it completely in a separate container of plain aged seawater.
9. Place the rinsed coral into its new aquarium.

A prepared solution may be used for several corals but must be discarded after one hour.

Never add Koral MD or the prepared dip solution directly to an aquarium.

No permanent installation is required.

Prepare the following before treatment:

• A clean plastic dipping container
• 1/2 US gallon (1.9 L) of aged seawater
• A separate container of plain aged seawater for rinsing
• A measuring cap or suitable measuring device
• A turkey baster or similar device
• Rubber gloves
• Protective goggles
• A timer

Prepare and use the dip away from the display aquarium. Never pour the concentrate or used dip solution into the aquarium.

Wear rubber gloves and protective goggles when handling. The product may irritate the eyes and skin.

Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption.

If swallowed:
Rinse the mouth and spit out, drink a full glass of water and contact a poison control center.
