The Blue Tip Green Mouth Frogspawn is a beautiful LPS coral featuring flowing, multi-tipped tentacles accented by cool blue tips and a contrasting bright green mouth. This combination of color and movement gives the coral excellent visual depth, especially under blue-heavy reef lighting.

As the polyps fully extend, the Frogspawn develops the soft, flowing appearance that makes Fimbriaphyllia one of the most popular groups of LPS corals in the reef hobby. Placement & Flow

Provide gentle to moderate, indirect flow that allows the tentacles to sway naturally without being whipped around or pushed against the skeleton. Allow several inches of space between the Frogspawn and neighboring corals to accommodate its expansion and potential sweeper tentacles.

Lighting

The Blue Tip Green Mouth Frogspawn generally thrives under low to moderate reef lighting. Gradual light acclimation is recommended when introducing the coral to a new aquarium, particularly when placing it in areas with stronger PAR.

Feeding

Frogspawn receives much of its nutritional needs through photosynthesis and does not require frequent direct feeding. Occasional offerings of small LPS pellets, mysis, or appropriately sized meaty foods can help support healthy growth.
